Adult Beginners Ballroom & Latin Dance Class

Never danced before? Our Adult Beginners Ballroom & Latin Dance Class is the perfect place to start.

The class is specifically designed for complete beginners, so no previous dance experience is necessary. You’ll learn the basic steps and techniques of popular Ballroom and Latin dances in a relaxed, friendly and enjoyable environment.

Learn dances such as the Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Quickstep, Rumba, Jive, Tango and more as your dancing progresses.

Our beginners class allows you to learn at a comfortable pace while developing confidence on the dance floor.

Adult Intermediate Ballroom & Latin Dance Classes

Our Adult Intermediate Ballroom & Latin Dance Classes are designed for dancers with a good knowledge of Ballroom and Latin dancing who want to continue developing their skills.

At intermediate level, greater emphasis is placed on technique, movement, timing, musicality, partnering and more developed figures and routines.

These classes provide an enjoyable challenge for experienced social dancers while continuing to develop confidence, style and quality of movement on the dance floor.

Our Adult Beginners Ballroom & Latin Dance Class is specifically designed for complete beginners. You don’t need any previous dancing experience – we’ll teach you from the beginning.

Which class is right for my dancing level?

We offer Beginners, Improvers, Intermediate and Advanced adult classes. If you have previous dance experience but aren’t sure which class would be most suitable, please contact us and we’ll be happy to advise you.

What dances will I learn?

Our classes cover a wide variety of dances, including popular Ballroom and Latin dances such as Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive and Samba, together with Sequence dancing in appropriate classes.

Where are the adult dance classes held?

Our adult classes are held at Bollington Civic Hall, Bollington, near Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 5JX.

Our adult classes operate on a pay-as-you-go basis. You pay when you attend and only pay for the classes you come to, rather than having to pay for a complete course in advance.

Can experienced dancers join DanceTech?

Absolutely. As well as our beginners and improvers classes, we offer Intermediate and Advanced Ballroom & Latin classes for more experienced dancers.
