Have you always wanted to learn to dance but never known where to start?
DanceTech Ballroom Academy runs a friendly Adult Beginners Ballroom & Latin Dance Class every Friday at 7.30pm at Bollington Civic Hall, above the library, near Macclesfield.
The class is designed especially for complete beginners, so you don’t need any previous dance experience. We teach everything from the beginning and help you progress at a comfortable pace in a relaxed, friendly and sociable atmosphere.
New Beginners Are Welcome
You don’t have to wait for a new course or a particular start date.
New beginners are welcome to join our Friday class, and because our classes are pay as you go, there are no course fees, monthly memberships or long-term commitments.
Simply come along, enjoy learning to dance and only pay for the lessons you attend.
Learn the Dances You See on Strictly Come Dancing
If you enjoy watching Strictly Come Dancing and have always fancied having a go yourself, our beginners class is the perfect place to start.
You’ll learn popular Ballroom and Latin American dances including:
- Waltz
- Quickstep
- Foxtrot
- Tango
- Cha Cha Cha
- Rumba
- Jive
- Samba
Everything is taught step by step, so there’s no need to worry about having “two left feet”.
Friendly, Professional Tuition
Classes are taught by Peter Bailey, Principal of DanceTech Ballroom Academy, who has more than 30 years’ teaching experience.
Peter is an IDTA Fellow and IDTA Examiner and has taught dancers of all abilities, from complete beginners through to experienced dancers, competitors and professional dance teachers.
Our emphasis is on helping you learn while enjoying yourself in a friendly and welcoming environment.
