Welcome to DanceTech Ballroom Academy

We are a dance school based in Bollington near Macclesfield in Cheshire.


We offer classes in Ballroom, Latin, Modern Sequence, Classical Sequence / Old Time Dancing & Argentine Tango & Salsa for all ages groups, from Children to Adults. We cater for the complete beginner to the more advanced dancer.


We also offer classes in Street Dance & Freestyle for all age groups.


All our classes are taught in a relaxed stress free environment with the emphasis on enjoyment.

Cha Cha Cha

A dance of Cuban origin it was developed from the danzón by a syncopation of the fourth beat.

A dance from Spain, developed in France, depicting a bull fight.

A dance with its origins in Brazil at the beginning of the 20th century. Many steps can be traced back to the Maxixe danced in the 1910s
